I hope you like the slight redesign. I think it cleans things up a bit. Its just temporary though. I’m planning on completely revamping the site sometime in the next few months. Last Friday I helped a friend shoot a wedding over in Kaneohe. It was the first wedding I shot and I enjoyed my time. Coincidentally, I ran into the wedding party in Haleiwa the next morning at the Coffee Gallery. My friend gave me a 20mm fixed focal length lens to try out. I think it would have worked fine if I was the main photographer. I felt like I had to get too close to people to get the shots I wanted. I couldn’t even get the most of the shots I wanted because I would have gotten in my friend’s shot. She was shooting close and she wanted me to shoot wide so I ended up taking a bunch of crappy wide angle pictures. She told me starting off not to use the flash with the lens hood and I misunderstood her the entire shoot thinking she didn’t want me using a flash. That limited my shots to certain angles using the daylight. In summary, I was handed a fixed focal lenth lens, told not to use flash, and not to get in her shot. That leaves me off to the sidelines eager for something interesting to shoot. I felt like she intentionally tied my hands behind my back to make herself look good. I had a good time anyway. We got a free dinner at Haleiwa Joes to top it off. Needless to say, I won’t be posting any of those pictures here. Enough idle banter, lets review some quality pornography shall we.
